UPDATE 9/8/24: Adjusted prices for all commissions. Removed "Clean lines" as a commission option.

Standard Commissions

Standard commissions are single illustrations, they typically have fixed prices with price breakdowns listed for your convenience!

Line Drawing

  • Base price (single character) $20 USD

  • Additional characters are $10 USD (50% of base)

  • Line drawings are monochrome drawings, there is minimal toning added.

Colored Drawing

  • Base price (single character) $40 USD

  • Additional characters are $20 USD (50% of base)

  • Colored drawings are flat colored drawings. No shading added.

Character Bust

  • Base price (single character) $50 USD

  • Additional characters are $25 USD (50% of base)

  • Character busts are rendered illustrations that show characters from about the waist up. Shading is included.

  • Preferable for uses in icons or D&D character portraits/token art.

Full Rendering

  • Base price (single character) ~$100 USD

  • Additional characters are $50 USD (50% of base)

  • Full rendering is about conveying more shape and form through the use of lighting and shadowing.

  • Price will vary based on complexity of the scene or background.

Non-standard Commissions

Non-standard commissions are special commission types I offer that are not as simple as the single illustrative pieces I have above.

Sketch Page

  • Base price (4 sketches) $80 USD

  • Additional sketches are $20 USD each

  • Focuses on 1-2 characters at a time. If you want more to be included, the price will vary depending on how many and the complexity of those characters.

  • Sketch pages are meant to be open ended commissions where you give me references of your character(s) and describe some personalities and backstory for me to then interpret. You can ask for a specific subject to be focused on (ie. pertain to certain kinks or be mostly moody pieces) but there is meant to be total freedom on my part to draw whatever it is you have given to me.

B&W Comics

  • Base price (one page) $120 USD

  • Additional pages $80 USD each

  • Each page can take a maximum of 9 panels, though it is suggested to have another page to add variety to a page.

  • Black & White comics refer to comics that are drawn in a monochrome style.

  • If you wish to hire me for comics of a longer length or to be part of a commercial work, we must discuss the details through email: ([email protected])

Fully Rendered Comics

  • Base price (one page) $240 USD

  • Additional pages $120 USD each

  • Each page can take a maximum of 9 panels, though it is suggested to have another page to add variety to a page.

  • Fully rendered comics utilize the graphical style of my "Clean lines" illustrations, where the lines are cleaned up with line art and flat colors are incorporated.

  • If you wish to hire me for comics of a longer length or to be part of a commercial work, we must discuss the details through email: ([email protected])

Process

  • Prospective commissioners may either fill out the latest up-to-date Google Form to secure a place in the commission queue or reach out to me through email, direct message, or private messaging.

  • If you wish to commission me in regards to commercial work, we will continue correspondence over email.

  • The commissioner may choose whether to pay upfront or after the first approval check–this is the stage where there is a rough mock-up or "sketch" completed. Progress will not continue until payment is received (more information will be provided about payment in payment section).

  • Once sufficient payment is received, the commission will progress through the rest of the rendering stages until its completion.

  • The completed commission will be released to the commissioner once the payment has been fulfilled.

  • The commissioner will receive a full-resolution file of the commission, a copy of the raw file (ie. ".PSD") may be provided upon request.

Privacy Terms

  • Many times I may choose to use share or post my finished commissions publicly or to my Patreon for patrons only. If you prefer to not have your work posted, I can withhold the work from being posted publicly. However, I may still use the work for private portfolio purposes.

  • The commissioner will be credited for commissioning the work and for ownership of any characters depicted in the work that are of their own intellectual property. Should the commissioner choose it, they may request to be anonymous.

Editing

  • Commissioners may be allowed to ask for edits during the production of the commission. However, depending on the range of the edit(s) there may be certain fees involved.

  • Edits during the first stage of approval, when the work is first presented to the commissioner, they are welcome to ask for changes or even for an entire redo of the rough sketch. This will be free for the first and only time.

  • Edits during the rendering stage(s), the render stages include: clean up, line work, coloring, or general rendering. When a significant edit is requested, there will be a fee of 10% (rounded up) of the base commission price for each edit. This will be at my discretion and I will communicate with the client when I feel an edit is significant enough to require the fee.

  • After the commission is considered complete, major scale edits will be declined, this will be at my discretion but often examples of this would be: changing the entire pose of a character or changing the colors of the piece to reflect a different time of day. Smaller edits are welcome, but with a guaranteed fee of 15% (rounded up) of the base commission price per edit.

Payment

  • Commissioners are expected to pay upon the first approval phase of the commission. However, I am willing to be flexible and accommodate to commissioner's preferences in payment.

  • Up front payment, a commissioner may pay the full price upfront at the start.

  • Pay at approval phase, when the commission reaches the approval phase (after the initial rough sketch is created but before any further cleanup or rendering continues) the commissioner can pay for the commission fully here.

  • Install payments, if paying all at once is too much, I am willing to work out a series of payments throughout the commission's creation in which the client can pay incrementally. This will mean the production of the commission takes longer, but in turn the client will be able to break the payment into smaller payments at a time.

  • I will not accept full payment at the end of the commission's completion.

  • Cancellation and refunds, should a client need to cancel during the production of their commission, a refund can be issued if the art has not reached the approval phase and already been shared with the client. If the client has already been shown the art at the approval phase, then they can be refunded up to 80% of their payment. The remaining 20% will cover for the amount of work already produced (fees not applying).

  • Absolutely no refunds after the commission is complete.

  • if you are actually reading the Terms of Service, thank you. At the bottom is a phrase given for confirming you have read the TOS however I will actually believe you have read the TOS if you instead write "bofa". Because you are actually reading through this list and are not just skimming to the bottom. Thank you!

Image Copyright and Usage

As the artist...

  • I hold the rights to any artwork I produce. This then means...

  • I have the right to use the commission in promoting myself (ie. showing it as an example of my commission work to future commissioners) or in my personal portfolio

  • Share and post the commission to my various platforms outside of the commissioner's own usage.

  • For commissioners who request a piece of art remains private, I will respect the decision and refrain from posting the work publicly. The only exception may be I utilize it in a personal portfolio (one that is not on public display).

  • I will not claim the rights of any characters, architecture, or various other intellectual properties that do not belong to me.

The Commissioner is allowed to...

  • Repost and share the commission with credit designated somewhere alongside posting and leave the watermark and/or signature intact.

  • Crop a section of the commission for a profile avatar/icon or header image and then designate credit somewhere in their profile's description, biography, or pinned post to credit back to me, the artist.

  • Print a copy of the commission for non-commercial use (whether printed from home or at a larger printing company).

  • Claim ownership of their original characters depicted in the commission.

  • Ask for a commission to remain private.

The Commissioner cannot...

  • Mint the commissioned work into an NFT (Non-Fungible Token). I have no interested in creating NFTs nor being associated with them whatsoever.

  • Submit the art to an AI (artificial intelligence) database to model from and generate art from.

  • Use the commission as a base for an AI to retrace, stylize, or "correct" the art as it was received (ie. using an "anime filter" over the artwork to totally alter the style of how it was drawn, but keep the same poses, colors, and composition the same).

  • Redistribute and/or print the commission for profit or commercial use (if the client has an interest in commissioning me for a work to be part of a commercial project, we can discuss this further).

  • Alter or crop out the watermark and/or signature for any reason other than making a profile avatar/icon.

  • Claim the commission as their own work or creation.

  • Trace over the artwork and post it without credit given to me for the original production of the artwork.

Commercial Usage

  • If you are interested in hiring me for commercial work, I am open to discussing a fair deal on how I will be paid for my work and for how you will own licensing of the work to use for print or promotion.

  • I still stand by my stance where I will not work for creating assets that go towards NFTs or AI databases.

  • Depending on the production of the commercial work, I am entitled to royalties. This can be further discussed when forming a proper contract for the work.

  • I have the right to be credited properly for my work.

What I will draw...

  • Original fictional characters, furries, anthropomorphic characters, humans, fantasy races, and animals.

  • Any type of couple or romantic grouping.

  • Sexual content and light gore (commissioner must be 18 or older to commission).

What I won't draw...

  • Anything promoting or glorifying hateful ideology, including but not limited to: homophobia, racism, sexism, transphobia, trans exclusionism, xenophobia, and any other derogatory, hateful concepts.

  • Sexual situations that involve minors and/or real-life people.

I may be hesitant to draw...

  • Complex designs: a character design with intricate patterns or abstract anatomical features (ie. aliens, mechs, detailed armor, etc.) depending on the complexity, I may need to compromise by simplifying these complex design details for better ease of clarity in the piece and for what I feel will look best in the end of a commission.

  • Certain sexual subjects/fetishes.

  • Characters that do not belong to the commissioner (excluding "fan art"), there must be explicit permission given by the third party.

  • Fan art of characters I am not familiar with, in situations where the commission has a sexual theme I need to know if that character is at least of 18 years of age as per the design I am given. I do not feel comfortable with fan interpretations of aged up minors or with a character who is a minor for a majority of the story they are based in and only becoming an adult in a short portion of it. For images of a non-sexual and "SFW" theme, I am fine drawing minors in them (babies, children, adolescents, and teens).
